Next to Vellore, the road from Bagayam to Adukamparrai is widened to 4 lanes.  Rs.30 crore has been allocated on behalf of the National Highways Department for this purpose
Roads belonging to the National Highway in Tamil Nadu are periodically renovated.  However, the heavy roadways of heavy vehicles can turn into dumps and ditches, making it unsafe for traffic.

This causes motorists to suffer a lot at night and sometimes have accidents.  Therefore, the National Highways Department has taken steps to rehabilitate the dilapidated roads and widen the road where necessary.

Accordingly, the road from Vellore to Arani is now seen as a pit and pit.  Also, the road is very narrow and sometimes traffic congestion and the public is suffering greatly.  Therefore, steps have been taken to widen the national highway from Vellore to Arani.  Accordingly, the first phase of the road from Bagayam to Adukamparai will be widened to 4 lanes and construction of a new quality is underway.

Rs.30 crore has been allocated on behalf of the National Highways Department for this purpose.  It has been constructed with rain water in Arukkampara and a small ground bridge at Iyanjayattu, Ramalinganagar and Bagayam.  The 2-meter-by-10-meter-wide, 14-meter-wide 4-lane road is also being expanded.  Canals and drinking water tanks are being constructed for the sewer project at the side of the road.  National Highway Department officials said the work would be completed soon and put to public use
